I love the light and camera but really wish it came with a direct plug option as I need it in places other than straight wire destinations and I am not an electrician and can’t run a wire myself

This flood light is very simple to install and it works great. the light brightness is adjustable. the camera has a great picture and detects motion sooner than I thought it should , ( as soon as my foot steps around the corner of my house the light comes on and it starts recording).
The last brand I had I had I to walk out and wave my arms to get the light to come on.

Purchased to upgrade two V1 floods. Initially I really liked the larger FOV and resolution, but once night fell, a few deficiencies became apparent. Changing the night mode requires me to go into settings. All other cameras have an icon on the camera live view to do so. Could be patched in later. Not such a problem to dock stars. The stars get knocked off because of two issues. First, the night vision mode (B/W mode) is blurry on the extreme edges of the view on both my cameras. Must be something with light reflecting off the lens and how the software augments light. Maybe a patch could fix it? The biggest issue is the very obvious and terrible downgrade at night when he night mode is off. I can’t see anything if the floodlight is off. Previous gen had a great color night mode, very clear. This version, terrible. I wish I would have kept my previous gen. The upgrades in other areas are not worth offsetting this huge downgrade. Maybe it is software fixable but maybe I just need gen 3 or maybe pro V2 when they come out. Not sure but I’m not able to recommend the upgrade.
