I replaced an older dual level photocell, dusk to dawn, two bulb unit with this new device. It has exceeded my expectations, even though I was using LED bulbs in the older unit this unit provides a brighter light in my area. The unit is mounted above my garage door and covers my driveway to the right and an additional car parked outside to the left, the sensitivity seems to cover the complete area.
The camera was the new element to my setup. It does not quite rotate to the extreme right toward the street as much as I had hoped, but covers most everything needed. I set it up to eliminate any street traffic triggers, but I am now getting triggers from my American Flag shadows at certain times of day and when it is windy. Still working on that.
This is a big addition to my security and convenience. I am 81 years old and most of the package deliveries are left at the street side bottom corner of my garage door. Now I can visualize that area before making a trip to check. Also the delivery folks set off my notification alert.

This unit once installed came to life when powered up, and I had figured out all the options figured out and in my stable or other Wyze Cam products. Very easy to use. Don’t worry if it says it can’t see your WiFi network - it can’t until you enter the password - then it can see it…

Easy installation and setup. The way you can select the area of sensor coverage is really nice so that cars driving by aren’t always setting it off. Also being able to set the brightness of the floodlights is great. Camera works well and has a good field of view. All in all, it’s a big improvement over our old floodlight with a PIR sensor.
