Much improved over V1! Installation was easy, and the motion sensor much more configurable. I had problems with the previous release - lights would not shut off without reset of the device, etc. This one went up easily, and works perfectly. I can adjust the sensitivity of the infared and motion sensor so I conly have the light turn on in the area I want. Highly recommended. If you have been waiting, this is the time to get one.

The camera was great until the motion ball part on the bottom started to fill with water now it does not work. It’s supposed to be an outside camera but water/rain somehow filled up the motion part. Camera still works when you open in app u can see live video just no motion activation notifications that’s the point of buying a motion camera … I’d stay away from this model I’d replace it but there expensive and can’t afford to change it out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello! Wyze Cam Floodlight is not completely waterproof - it won't work underwater! But it is both IP65 weather resistant and UL Listed for Wet Locations. This means it'll keep doing it's job in sunshine, snow, or a total downpour. Wyze Cam Floodlight comes with a pre-installed Wyze Cam v3, which controls the floodlight. Depending on the angle of the mount, the motion activated bright light will come on with EVERY motion. Ambient light is one 24/7. Make sure to read up on settings and what they mean. Otherwise, great light and camera! If it came with the option to change to warm light, I would have paid more!

Great so far. Good image and movement recognition. The additional motion sensor is an added plus. The lighting is ample, but being brighter never hurts for the intent of this product. The installation kit was useful with the hanging bracket to support the device while connecting the wiring. Having bought this on the inital release the value was excellent.
