Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a Frigidaire for years since about 2014 finally went out so I decided to buy a new one. I have several issues with this oven. first is the side of the top is stamped out looks real cheap terrible finish. Second of all the drawer at the bottom feels really weak and doesn't look like it will last... very cheap. 3rd and worst is the noise that comes out when you broil a whining Whistling noise that doesn't stop untill 3 to 5 minutes after you have stopped the broiling and everyone is saying what is wrong with your oven and everybody is talking about it until finally the noise stops, and go wow ,that was very weird. And you can't talk during it because it is so overwhelming that it grabs everyone's attention. I understand that it might be something that they do so it doesn't overheat or something but it's very annoying very very annoying. Plus there is a weird oder that is like paint. I thought maybe that would go away eventually cuz it's brand new but it persists . You guys got to fix that. I'm very disappointed. I guess I got to live with it, explain it every time someone comes over. Other than that the stove top works great no complaints there oven works great it's just this broil thing very very annoying.

A slight odor (similar to paint or burning) can occur during the first few uses as manufacturing residues burn off, but it should gradually lessen over time. If the smell persists after several uses, we recommend running the oven through a few full heating cycles and ensuring proper ventilation.
Regarding the whistling or whining noise during broil, this can sometimes be related to normal airflow or cooling fan operation used to regulate temperature. However, the level of noise you described does not sound typical. We suggest confirming the unit is properly leveled and checking that oven racks or internal components are securely in place to avoid vibration.
