If the surface burner does not heat evenly, please be sure the correct surface control knob is turned on for the element needed.Cookware is light-weight or warped. Use only fl at, evenly balanced, medium or heavyweight cookware. Flat pans heat better than warped pans. Cookware materials and the weight of the material affect heating. Heavy and medium-weight pans heat evenly. Because lightweight pans heat unevenly, foods may burn easily. If there is anything we can do to improve your experience, please let us know.
