Could be better

I just purchased this today, and I was excited to test ride it as my boyfriend has an electric skateboard and I thought that this could be fun to purchase, and go on rides with each other! However, after assembling it and taking it for a test ride after I had turned the display screen on for to use the PAS and throttle the display screen/the bike would completely shut off. It would do this about four times in a row before stopping and staying on. The display screen also partially turns off but the bike still runs and then will completely shut down mid ride. I’m thinking there’s an issue with the battery. When we test rode it to see how long the battery would last at a full charge it was down to one bar really quickly. It could be better. We disconnected and reconnected wiring, and it still is doing the same thing. So, I will be exchanging for a different one if not returning. Very disappointed after paying 900.00 for it

Warranty support is a big problem

I bought this SWFT bike several months ago and had a crank failure. Replacement of the part is covered by the 1 year manufacturers warranty. The company is not providing a replacement part for the crank and is not answering my emails. Best Buy has no interest in helping me resolve this problem. What I learned. Do not buy a bike from Best Buy and instead purchase from a local bike store who will honor warranties on bikes they sell. This will be worthwhile investment in the long term and you will avoid the hassle of dealing with companies like SWFT.

No issues, works well. I haven't given it a full ride to see the actual distance before the battery dies, but I am a little over 225lbs and it still goes pretty fast. I might add a gel seat cover for extra comfort, but that's it.
It would be great if it had a key lock for anti-theft and a quick-release container for the tools & charger, but it's $200-$400 cheaper than most e-bikes out there, so I can live with that. I picked up a pouch at Dollarama that does the job.
