Love that it holds the what they screw in place, I have bad hands , so this is a life saver for me, since I am my own handy woman

Having a screw holder makes this driver the best invention since sliced bread! So tired of picking up screws over and over again. Great idea! Great product!

High quality workmanship, excellent features

I had the first version for about 6 yrs - it still works perfectly, but I needed a second unit for another location, so I ordered this later version. With the screw holder, it's even more useful. The rotating barrel containing the bits is a real innovation making it very quick and easy to change bits without having to remove them from the barrel. Overall, a must-have tool which does the job for the great majority of jobs.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The hardest part about this review is where I should put it. WX254L or WX255L. Bought the WX254L around 3 years ago and now it is showing it's age. So I want to buy another. Despite it not changing bits correctly all the time, I love the WX254L.
This tool , the WX255L looks like a good upgrade except:
No light. My work requires the light more than a screw holder. I can use my fingers to hold the screw correctly. I do see that it would help where you can't get your other hand in. Why couldn't you just have kept the light.
I've heard a comment about the bits being nonmagnetic (thru the tool itself). It is true that to try to magnetize the bits themselves is a waste of time. However you can get six of those super strong magnets and put them in two cylinders with an empty one in between. of the cylinders. Put the bit you want to use between the cylinders and put the turret in the screwdriver. The cylinder between the magnets should be on top. Push the slide forward and the bit will push forward and be magnetized. Makes a good screw holder.
That said, I am on the fence whether I want to buy this newer tool or go with the older one. I am hoping I can get the older one (out of stock) before xmas. I would prefer it.
One last thing. Don't you know the ejection port goes on the right side of the screwdriver and not on the left? (Owners of semi-automatic weapons will get the joke.)
I think I will hold out for the 245. (sigh)
