Great product - weight capacity?

Great product. One question - the sticker on the seat it says it has a weight capacity of 40 lbs, but here on the site you say 48.5lbs - which is it? Thank you.

This seat feels really sturdy and my toddler seems to be very comfortable here! Only giving it four stars because it is pricey, but otherwise - great buy. Very happy with it!

I had high hopes as a top brand that this child carrier would be premium material and great functionality. Especially for the price. We have rode about 40 miles with it. It seems to be made of great material. However, the buckle is very hard to adjust and the straps really press down on my daughter's (2yrs old) legs. We also have to park the bike in the shade because the black seat gets extremely hot. I wanted to swap it out for a blue one or just return all together but there terms did not allow it. I would recommend going with something that has a lap bar and easier straps.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Instructions are fairly simply and straightforward. The seat installs in probably 10-15 minutes. My 2 & 4 year-olds love to tag along for a 4 or 5 mile bike ride and they add a good 30# of weight for a nice ride! Enjoy it!!
