I was happy with my bag for a while, but the zipper is clunky and takes a while to switch. After about a year of use, the zipper broke while I was biking home. It was a real pain to deal with because I couldn't even wear it as a backpack. Pretty much had to walk an hour home because of this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
