Good: not as impressive as I thought it would be.

The design is quite nice, but the touchpad is not so smooth. The monitor is not super steady and wiggles whenever repositioning the laptop or the screen itself. Also, the pen that was made for it doesn't work so well with drawing; perhaps it was the software but the pen seems to lack good traction and stutters for a few seconds before stabilizing.

ASUS is an ISO certified company, as a result, all products go into a strict manufacturing standard. All ASUS products undergo intensive quality control testing and inspections that ensure each one is defect-free. The monitor wiggling and the pen doesn't work well are random problems that may be resolved by checking if Windows, drivers, and BIOS are up to date. Updates for the laptop are posted at: https://www.asus.com/us/laptops/for-home/vivobook/asus-vivobook-s-16-flip-tn3604/helpdesk_bios?model2Name=ASUS-Vivobook-S-16-Flip-OLED-TN3604. Additionally, while accessing web applications, please ensure the laptop has access to an established router and internet service is working properly since this will definitely affect system speed and performance, including the responsiveness of the Stylus pen. If these steps were performed to no avail, please try to run a diagnostics or optimization test using the "My ASUS" utility software or application. El ASUS Vivobook S 16 Flip 2023 Touch es un portátil versátil con una gran pantalla y un rendimiento potente.
Lo bueno: Pantalla grande y nítida es perfecta para ver películas, jugar uno que otro juego y trabajar en documentos, la bisagra de 360 grados permite usar el portátil en modo tableta, lo que es ideal para tomar notas, dibujar o ver películas. El procesador AMD Ryzen 5 permiten realizar la mayoria de las tareas sin problemas hasta ahora.
Lo malo: El sensor de huella dactilar no siempre funciona correctamente, por lo que tengo que usar un PIN numérico para desbloquear. El material del que está hecho el portátil se mancha fácilmente con las manos ligeramente sudorosas o grasosas.
Conclusión, es una buena opción si buscas un portátil con una gran pantalla y un rendimiento potente. Sin embargo, pienso pueden mejorar el sensor de huella dactilar.

The computer is functioning beautifully even after discovering after leaving my computer on playing "Peppa Pig" on YouTube, my autistic son opened every app and had everything playing at once and 20+ videos on YouTube playing at the same time in 2 different browsers! The computer was able to handle that load and didn't crash...of course upon discovery i shut all programs off and the computer resumed just fine. It can survive my autistic son then it's a keeper!

The design is great overall. I will make plenty use of the touch screen/tablet functionality. A larger SSD would be nice, but I can upgrade that. 16 Gb of memory is essential for my needs, and again, I can upgrade to that. The CPU is plenty fast for my purposes and I am very happy to have an AMD chip on this board. I miss having a third standard USB, but the addition of the C-type was essential. So I am pleased with that device and plan to use it for a number of years.
