I replaced a Wyze floodlight with this Floodlight Pro due to poor performance from the older version after 2 months. I installed this Pro Floodlight very easily and it would not sync to my internet. After verifying that maybe my internet signal strength was not enough to reach this floodlight, I added a range extender. It worked and the Pro floodlight was activated and worked……for about a week. It records every movement , but I am not able to view a Live Feed when I want to view the Pro floodlight. That’s why I rated it one star. The only good thing about the camera is the ability to record…. Hopefully that doesn’t stop on me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Floodlight Pro is pretty good. The 2.5K which is a 2K camera which is has a wide angle view, due to the pixel spreading , has the 0.5K designation, sacrifices some imaging resolution (compared to the Wyze Cam V3 Pro 2K which has a '2K resolution' field of pixel). The playback from a microSD card is "strange". Even with a 256Gb microSD card, the Floodlight Pro seems to 'only' be able to access the last 45minutes of video (with the Camera Settting set to CONTINOUS Record - this is odd. Sometimes, the Camera can playback more, such as an 1hour or more but most of the time it cannot? When I have time, will try to change the WiFi Network to my 2.4G (from the 5G WiFi network to see if it might fix the Playback of the Floodlight Pro camera behave more like all the other Wyze cameras (e.g. V3, V3 Pro, OC 3X Telephoto, & V2 Scan Pan cameras). Perhaps the slow OR no playback access beyond 45 minutes of recordings 'from present time' us due to the use od Burst communications when connecting thru the faster 5G WiFi network ???? => Other than the annoying quirks mentioned above, the Floodlight Pro is pretty good ....but surely could be better especially if the playback from the memory card is fixed.
Installing was fairly easy. The camera is great quality and has an impressive field of view. Like most Wyze products, the settings for the camera/light are just different enough in the app that it takes a few minutes to learn how to navigate it.
Super easy to install & hook up. Love the ability to set the brightness on the flood light. You can see a great deal in distance as well! Love it! Love Wyze!

Phenomenal product for the price. Im a Wyze fanatic, and have collected many of their innovations. But this Flood lamp is worth every penny. Wide view, Very Bright, and packed with a variety of new features.
