I like the quality of construction and am pretty happy with the performance.
As with all of the 2.7k cameras, they leave a lot to be desired with long distance recognition; it's just not good enough for any details, license plates, signage, etc. Most important is the dynamic range is so low that it will never be able to pull detail from both shadows and highlights.
The worst thing is that the PIR detection is just too narrow of a field when placed on a 270-degree corner of the house. I'd love to be able to adjust it to be a wider field than it is.
The detection is VERY short range to trigger the lights. I do like having the 3 lights, opposed to the 2 on hte previous version.
I installed two of these floodlights on an outbuilding to monitor activity around the building. They were very easy to install and setup. The first night they detected and recorded a vehicle that approached the building at 3am. Well worth the money for the security the light provides. I also like that I can remotely turn on the floodlights and camera from my phone when I am away.
