It's pretty but doesn't live up to the hype.

Bought this dryer 5/13 and I'm not at all impressed with it or the installation. No where does it state that the dryer will not be installed for the steam sanitation to work. It requires a water connection, the Samsung installer just didn't do it and didn't say anything about it. I will have to purchase the hose and water connector on my own, as these components were not left with me. I also need to install a new vent. The dryer doesn't remove the amount of hair it claims to not will it dry a king size blanket completely. I used a whirlpool dryer at an Airbnb and it was amazing! Most of the hair was removed and the blankets were dry. I thought I needed a new dryer and fell for the Pet Care system. It does the same job as my old dryer and it's slightly smaller. I'm very disappointed. Now I know why it's on sale.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's frustrating when product features aren't communicated, and when installations don't meet expectations. We are here to help.

Steam cycles with Samsung dryer models require water, water which is sprayed from the dryer and not water from the wet clothing. The water is sprayed in intervals during the drying cycle. Water hose(s) are purchased separately, only the Y-connector and Short water hose are provided.

The Pet Care Dry Cycle is designed to help remove 97% of 3 unpleasant odors caused by animal food, messes, and body odor. The dryer should not be more than 3/4 full. In addition, for comforters and the like, the Bedding cycle should be selected. I have shared this model's user manual link below. Please turn to page 47 for the cycle chart and recommended load sizes for each cycle (the Pet Care dry cycle works best with a small load size whilst the Bedding cycle works best with bulky items).

Slow to dry

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought as a set when my washer quit. The dryer always takes a minimum of 2 cycles to dry anything I put in it, even small loads. Very disappointing when my old dryer didn't do this. I was hoping this would be more energy efficient, and it isn't when I have to run at minimum of 2 cycles to dry anything.

The dryer with ALL the features you need.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this dryer a few months ago and I am so impressed. Of course, it’s Samsung so I know it’s quality built, but it’s also a beautiful design (I chose the navy blue). The variety of drying cycles lets me choose the right amount of time and heat. There is also a steam feature. It’s just got it all and then some. WiFi enabled, it uses the Smart Things app to send me messages when the drying cycle is complete. (It even displays it on my Samsung TV thru the same app. I am amaze by the technology and absolutely recommend this dryer!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought my dryer last year and already it has a bad gas valve. been talking with them all day and they wont send me a new one because its a year over the warranty. Really, its literally been 1 year and 3 months and they can send me a replacement part free of charge without trying to get me to pay for a Samsung service call which I'm pretty sure is going to be high to compensate for the free part

Huge letdown

Pain! Worst Dryer Ever!

This is by far the worst dryer that I have ever owned! Trust me! Do not believe others. Save yourself heart ache and do not buy! I throw sheets in the dryer, let it go for an hour and still damp. I have to try different settings and the dryer always defaults to eco-dry or auto-stops when it ASSUMES your clothes are dry. I MISS my old dryer that was tried and true. Only opted for this dryer because I wanted the matching set. The settings for 'bedding' for example, don't dry bedding without tweaking other settings. What a piece of work!
