Very quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was not able to purchase the full size washer I wanted to ordered this model. It does not have the same stacking capacity as my original washer the same size. As a second choice it is workable. Cleans well but doesn't dry as well as previous appliance - disappointing. It cleans and works and I must say it is extremely quiet. Ok for a second choice.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher is one of replacement items recommended by my home warranty company, American Home Shield. This dishwasher has the closest features to my old Asko dishwasher.
By the time of this review, we have been using this dishwasher only for a over a week, for about 3 cycles. It is working great. The inside is a little smaller than my previous Asko dishwasher, but it has 3rd rack that I can use for my utensils.

Doesn't dry!

I changed all my stainless Whirlpool appliances to white. I wish I had my old dishwasher back. This one has open door dry. The following morning, I still have to towel dry my dishes. It is quiet and I like the clean looks of it but hate that it just doesn't dry properly.

Racks not as good as the older 4000 model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this dishwasher to replace a 15 year old model 4000 Whirlpool. We had to replace our old one because the door latch assembly broke and the replacement parts were not available.
This new model is more quiet and perhaps more water efficient.
HOWEvER... the racks in this new model are not well designed for large shallow bowls. The old model had pegs the right size to hole a shallow bowl upright, so you could load several to be washed at the same time.
This new model has pegs that are too far apart, so the bowls lean over, almost flat and block each other.
The could be put on the second rack face down, but only about three would fit..... and there would be no place for cups.
The drying is not as efficient and the older unit, and if you forget to "turn off" the Door dry option, (that unlocks the door and opens it a bit at the end of a cycle), your dishes and the inside of the dishwasher will be wet. (even with Jet Dry added). Overall, the unit is quiet and efficient, but will not allow the same number of dishes, (mainly shallow bowls), to be loaded as the older unit.

Innovative Feature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was installed several weeks ago and I’ve been impressed with how quiet it is and I was surprised by the automatic door opening at the end of the cycle to help the drying process and efficiency. It seemed gimmicky at first, but I like the way it works. That was an innovative feature. I’m also enjoying the third rack for cooking utensils.
