Looks can be deceiving

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this refrigerator for two weeks, hardly enough time to give it a proper review So far it seems to cool well, Vegetables and fruits are separated and keep fresh in the drawers designated for that specific use. The meat and cheese drawer is functional although very different from what I am used to. (not a big deal). I love the two doors on top with the freezer unit on the bottom; it is elegant looking and access to storage if relatively easy. Lighting is adequate. The exterior is easy to keep clean and, so far, looks very nice. However, the negative is that quality of workmanship is not as I would expect from Whirlpool, especially for the price. The drawers are flimsy; they do not slide open or close easily and I can see them cracking within a year if not treated with extra special care; the shelves do not slide out as my last model did and are not strong. The storage shelves/containers in the doors are also fragile. We will see how I rate this same refrigerator a year from now.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Freezer drawers move entire appliance when pulled toaccess. You have to open refrigerator.door to access filtered water
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a great refrigerator, this is our second one. We hope it lasts longer than the last one though, it only lasted 8 years. The left door is a little hard to get shut though.
It’s new. So far it cools well, but even with the humidity control on, there is noticeable moisture between fridge and freezer. I live in a very humid area of the US, but still… If something is labeled “Humidity Control,” I was sorta hoping it would, you know, control humidity.
There are also a few inexplicable and frustrating design choices. First, the French doors are not symmetrical. I thought that was fine at first, but then I discovered that the fruit and vegetable drawers ARE the same size, which means that you cannot slide out the left-hand drawer without opening both doors. The asymmetry now feels like a designer was looking for “clever” instead of “functional." Second, the meat-and-cheese drawer has two slots for its divider, one that’s a third of the length, and the other at the two-thirds mark. Sure, you can decide which side is smaller, but the proportions are the same either way. Why not make one of the dividers at the halfway mark, allowing customers to choose whether they want division by thirds or by halves? Isn’t that more helpful than giving consumers only a choice between left and right? Third, as others have noted, the water dispenser is too low and the pressure is weak. We had a nearly identical system in our previous Amana, with neither of those problems. And finally, there’s no dairy provision on the doors. Storing butter with 8 inches above it makes little sense — can’t we have a small flip-up dairy shelf like virtually every other model on the market?
This is not Whirlpool’s first refrigerator. While it cools and freezes as a fridge should, I can’t help but wonder how such obvious flaws got through the design stage, especially since there would have been no cost for more thoughtful design in most cases. Perhaps these items will be reconsidered in future models, with the potential buyer in mind.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am enjoying my new refrigerator, but I have noticed that the meat drawer does not keep a lower temperature than the rest of the fridge part. Also the left door must be shut first for there to be a complete closing. It cleans up nicely and does not show fingerprints like my old one. It is easy to find items in the fridge part and freezer. Very nice overall.
Works fine, but makes a whole lot of strange noise

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I find that the refrigerator and freezer both work very well, I like the model and the capacity. I would like to know why the refrigerator makes a whole series of strange noises - whining, chirping, clicking, gurgling, etc. I think there is something wrong with the waterline or the icemaker. I want this to be looked at and repaired if necessary BEFORE the warranty runs out. To whom do I speak about this, and what is the contact number?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Inside moisture along top seal of freezer door. Inside water dispenser drips and is not the easiest to get to. Inconvenient to have to use both hands. Do not recommend

Below are a few possible Solutions
Is the Energy Saver or Humidity feature turned On? Certain refrigerators are equipped with a separate control to prevent exterior moisture from forming on the vertical hinged seal. Within the seal is a heater that warms the surface to prevent moisture from the outside. The Energy Saver or Humidity Feature controls a heater that helps to reduce moisture on the vertical hinged seal. Turning this feature On/Off varies by model, so please refer to your Owner's Manual for specific instructions. To operate this feature, follow these instructions: Press the control to "On" to save energy when the environment is less humid. Press the control to "Off" when the environment is warm and more humid, or if moisture is noticed on the vertical hinged seal. NOTE: It may take up to 24 hours for the condensation to be eliminated once the Energy Saver feature has been turned off. Refer to 'How to Use the Humidity Control or Energy Saver Feature' for additional information. Is the refrigerator level? It is important to ensure the refrigerator is level. A properly leveled refrigerator helps ensure overall proper operation. Check that the floor under the refrigerator is level. If the floor is not level, shims may be needed to properly level the refrigerator. Please refer to your Owner's Manual or Installation Instructions for specific leveling information for your refrigerator. Learn how to use your phone to level household appliances.
