Not nearly as good as the previous model

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this because it was the best of the options available to us. We only have space for a 33" refrigerator, which greatly limited our choices. We wanted a French-door bottom-freezer with water and ice, which further reduced the field of candidates.
This model is basically the current model of the refrigerator we had to replace. The three-star review stems from the fact that it feels like we paid MORE (based on the CPI inflation calculator) for this unit than we did for our old one and gotten LESS. · We've lost the in-door water and ice feature, which makes things less convenient.
· The quality of the crisper drawers is not as good; they feel flimsier and tend to jam when closing.
· The freezer baskets aren't as well-made or as space-efficient as those in our old refrigerator.

Styrofoam by your food

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fridge had styrofoam exposed inside (not part of the packing materials). How good would it be to have styrofoam in a place where lemon juice, water, wine and other liquids occasionally spill? I am working on returning this fridge, and wouldn't recommend it.

Beautiful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this fridge. When I was deciding on refrigerators, I did not want stainless steel. Well it came down to very few refrigerators that would fit in the spot in my kitchen, so I just got this one and felt like I was settling. But I love it! It is fingerprint resistant so it doesn't show the fingerprints as much as normal stainless steel and it's easy to clean. It's a little smaller than my old fridge, so it's hard adjusting to less space, but I knew that going in. I love that the water is concealed inside the fridge. The handles on this fridge are so modern and beautiful. If you are looking for a stainless steel fridge this size, you won't regret it.

Loud!

Had it for 8 days.
Delivered with a significant outward crease in rear panel. On further inspection, it became clear that the way it left the factory based on screw hole location. Tolerances were really that poor, so the operator tweaked the panel to make it fit.
Evaporator motor (in freezer) is really loud (60+ dB). Maytag says follow our troubleshooting guide. (yes, the refrigerator is level.)
Metalwork on door has wrinkles with foam insulation showing at top of door near hinge. Maytag CS is silent, so probably time for the dental pick and acetone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the fridge for a few weeks now. For the most part this is a really nice refrigerator that seems well built. The big issue is how loud it is. It runs over 53 decibels when running and gets pretty annoying.
