Great graphics & sounds and easy to play!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Outright Games Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed is a fun and exciting game for my 2 boys to play on our XBox. They love the graphics and sounds from the turtles. The turtles are roaming the sewers of NYC trying to restore peace. They love the jumping, running, fighting and the weapons too. The turtles hang out with April & Splinter and more. We are all very happy with this game, even I like it too. The turtles were my favorite when I was growing up and nice to see my boys playing with them now!

Good game, no scrolling game

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a normal millennial who grew up on cowabunga and pizza, this was something i was unsure of. The graphics are good, it’s not a side scrolling like the old arcaded ones we got used to. Controls can be a little confusing but the replay value is rather low. Good performance and overall gameplay but really wish some sounds weren’t all over the place.

Entertaining for kids

Graphics aren’t out of this world but for a kids game I wouldn’t expect them to be. Overall I’d recommend this for kids age 6-10.

Nice game, brings back memories

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It may not be the perfect game, but it is great fun with family and kids, and for those of us that are older, getting to plays as one of your four favorite turtles friends, is a blast from the past. Graphics are good, could've been better. Action and fun is non-stop, quite colorful game, nice addition to your collection if you are a TMNT fan. Load screens take up the majority of the game and the actual gameplay is clunky, reparative, and without any real challenge.

Fun family game for turtle lovers!

I play with my kids and they love it, mostly because I do, but that’s the best part. The load screens are plentiful, and a bit long for today’s consoles, to be honest. But that doesn’t keep me from playing it often.

If only the turtles played as good as they looked

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TMNT: Mutants Unleashed has the heart and soul of the movie, and portrays the Turtles in all their weird, fun glory. Its depiction of modern teenagers is fantastic.
In terms of gameplay, the Switch struggles to handle all of the art and assets required, and 30fps is sometimes a luxury.
The combat loop is simple, but fun. There’s just enough there to enjoy some variety without being too overwhelming. Overall gameplay is very linear, with an above average amount of rehashing old levels or backtracking, I’d say.
It’s an okay Turtles game on switch, on a more powerful console it’s probably a good turtles game, but it needs some more varied gameplay content to make it a great turtles game.
Pros: The art, the voice acting, the writing.
Cons: lots of rehashing, poor gameplay performance on hardware.
