[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It does not have remote access which I was told it did, and you also cannot access it from your Lorex home app which I was also told you could so does not seem to hold an advantage over any other keypad deadbolt which was disappointing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced an existing dead bolt. Simple install just had to modify the jam pocket. I would highly recommend this lock. My wife loves the unlock on approach feature.

Loses connection on the go

The lock looks great and functioned fine until I left the house. Now I’m five hours away and the app won’t connect to the lock so I have no means of controlling it.

It’s ok u got 2 be near the house 2 unlocked and lock the door if u at the store in forget u left your door unlocked u can nt lock the door it will just be unlocked 👎🏼

I bought six of these with the impression that they were smart locks. They are not smart they do not connect to the internet nor can they be remotely controlled. They are Bluetooth locks which makes them dumlocks. Also I have to use a completely different app. What's the point of branding something Lorax if you have to go to a different company's app to use it. Great concept, failed execution

I like the overall feel and finish of this electronic lock. The personal touch codes is a nice feature that enables the ability to see whom enters the home. My only wish is that some day it will co exist with the lorex app
