Actually stays on wall

Have used other MagSafe suction wall mounts and this one actually stays stuck on surfaces that aren’t just mirrors or glass. It has an adhesive backing to stick and seal the edges to the surfaces that aren’t as smooth then you twist it to apply suction. It doesn’t budge and can hold a lot of weight. 15 hours later and it was solid. Only thing is I got Latte and wanted a nude color and it was more of a dark bronze. Still a game changer that deserves 5 stars

Not very durable

This is the 2nd mount that I've ordered. The 1st was the one before this version. It broke after a while. I was given a credit so decided to go with the newer version. This 2nd one also broke from the same issue. Only lasted about a year. I love my pop socket but the mounts just don't last.

Mount works great, but the adapter disk tore up my dashboard

I've had Popsockets for several years and I don't know how I managed without them! I started with the little vent mount for my car, then about a year and a half ago I upgraded to the dashmount so I could move it to other spots on my dash if I wanted to. I love the mount (it's great for taking videos, I just point it where I want it and start recording. The dashmount holds my phone securely so I can concentrate on the road. BUT.... My dashboard is pretty textured, so I had to use the adapter, and when I tried to remove the adapter disk after two brutal Houston summers, the disk had become one with the dash. I'm trading in my car this week, so I removed the dashmount to use in the new car, but I have to order a replacement for the adapter - when I FINALLY managed to get the disk loose, it had part of the dashboard covering fused to it, which obviously left a rather large gaping hole in the dash cover. I ended up putting the disk back on with super glue - the new owner of the car is just going to have to deal with it or get a dashmount of their own.

Adhesive losing stick several months later

I don't recommend this mount if you plan on putting it on your curved dashboard. I attached this on my slightly curved dash per the instructions. It worked fine for the first few months. Recently, I noticed the mount is starting to lean forward when my phone is in it. Seems like the adhesive is losing its strength and I have to constantly apply pressure to get it back into place. I don't even use the mount very often, a couple of times a week at the most, sometimes only a few times per month. For now, it's semi functional but I imagine it won't be for long..I have a hard time trusting it will keep my phone in place on longer and/or bumpier drives. Maybe I should have attached it to my windshield since it's a flatter surface but I didn't like how that would block more of my view while driving.

The vent car mount works!

I was scared after ordering it since I saw some reviews saying it doesn’t hold their phones and doesn’t stay in the vent. I clipped mine on and it worked. I noticed there was two sizes on the clip, and it stays in place for my Samsung phone with an otter box. Fast shipping to my rural box number, in the middle of Canada. It also came days before the expected arrival. I'm very happy, Thank you. I will be ordering again in the near future!
