I love this product however, after about 8-12 months the inner gears just break. Everything is made of plastic. They need to revamp it and make all the inter workings from metal to give the product longevity.

Don't Buy if you have an iPhone 14 Max

This will not hold the weight of an iPhone 14 Max, no matter how I installed it, it would immediately fall out. I do not recommend it.

Love hate relationship

I’ve owned two of these and both have broken in about a year. I keep buying them again because I haven’t found anything more effective with my phone and Prius. I wish they were were more sturdy and lasted longer.

Firstly, every part of the dash on my husband's, best friend's, and my car is slightly curved and there is no perfectly flat surface to place the mount. It lasts a bit longer when I attach the suction cup horizontally on top of dashboard but it still falls off with any temperature change.

Good for pop socket not good for hot weather

Whenever it gets hot outside if it's up on the dash it will unstuck from the sticky base you put on

Do not buy this!

I originally purchased two of these hoping to use one at my desk and one in my car. Nope, do not buy these. These are pointless in every way. The base is not wide enough to hold a phone, it will fall over. Cleaning surfaces and applying will not make it stick any better. The range of motion is extremely limited. I almost lost my phone out the window because of this mount. I had a professional try to get it to stick with no luck. It fell off approximately 8 minutes after driving away. I tried with the base and on glass, I am back to using my old Popsocket and my old vent clip. The two new popsockets I purchased have issues. The tarot card will not stay on, it turns slightly as it sits on phone causing it to become detached. It falls off all the time. The round enamel one I got will not detach from base so it has been unusable.

Doesn’t work in hot climates & ruined car interior

These only stick for a couple of weeks before the heat starts melting the sticker used to attach the mount to the surface. The mount slowly falls off and the sticker ruined my car interior. This is probably the 5th one I’ve purchased. They work for a little while only. I cannot get the sticky residue and remnants off of my car. Really disappointed, I will not be purchasing from pop socket any more. I used to use this exact same mount and had no problem at all- they must have made changes to the mount/sticker used. Obviously this mount has not been tested in hot climates. I live in PA, USA which has a pretty mild temperature but the mount/sticker still cannot withstand the temperatures. Please add to the item description that they do not work in heat and will ruin your car interior!
