[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new dishwasher! I have to say the auto-open at the end of the cycle is my favorite feature. It's nice not to have to try and remember to do that yourself. It's also very quiet during operation and I appreciate the delay wash option as well so I can set it and forget itl. I am beyond pleased with my purchase 🤗
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loading is a little different but I like the 3rd, tray up top for small objects. The best part- the door opens for airing out at the end of the cycle.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this unit because of the Whirlpool reputation, honestly though I'm very disappointed. The drying is abysmal, loading is horrible, the racks are poorly designed and don't fit any of our plates OR bowls. The silverware holder is okay but you can't open it. I would think I should not have to dry all of the dishes every morning, regardless of the drying option I set.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for sharing your insights with us. We value your time and would like to look into the concerns with your Dishwasher not drying your dishes. Please see the following for some troubleshooting tips: Dishwasher Drying and Heating Optimization Rinse Aid is Key: Use rinse aid for optimal drying, preventing spots and streaks. The dispenser holds 5 oz (150 mL) and typically lasts 1-3 months. Check the indicator (clear when empty). For hard water or spotting, adjust the dispenser setting (higher number dispenses more rinse aid), changing minimally and testing over a few cycles. Proper Water Temperature: Ensure your hot water supply is at a minimum of 120°F (49°C) for the best wash and dry performance. Use Drying Options: Select a heated dry cycle/option (like "Heat or Pro Dry"). If needed, use the Extended Dry option (adds 15 minutes) for better results. Some models have a Door Open Dry option that automatically opens the door to vent moisture and accelerate drying. Load Correctly: Load items at an angle to allow water to drain off and prevent pooling. Place glasses between the upper rack wire tines. Load difficult-to-dry plastic and nonstick items in the third-level rack (if available). Note that these items may still require towel drying. Heating Element Check (If issues persist): With Sanitize: Run a cycle with the Sanitize option. If the Sanitize LED is on steady at the end, the element is fine. If it's blinking, service may be needed. Without Sanitize: Run a "1-hour" wash with "Heat Dry" selected (~1.5 hours total). If the dishes are not warm at the end, service may be needed. I'm sorry I purchased this. All the info said the dishwasher was just like a normal one. Well that's wrong!!!! my dishes and glasses fall over, yes they come out clean, but there isn't enough room, the dish racks hold nothing!!! Glasses shouldn't move, it's like there is nothing holding the glass in place like my other dishwasher. Wish I could get different racks. Dishes don't stay upright in the racks. and forget about dinner plates and lunch plates, they touch each other. waiting to open the door and find broken plates. poor design on the racks. I purchased this because I have an issue with my cabinet opening and it would fit in the opening without having to lift the countertop to get it in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new Whirlpool dishwasher is extremely quiet. One unexpected bonus is the "open door drying" feature, where at the end of the cycle the door automatically opens a few inches to allow the existing heat to dry the dishes without the need of additional electricity. The third/top rack for large utensils is also a great idea.
New dishwashers wash and dry differently than old dishwashers did. If you purchase this model, read the owner's manual that came with this dishwasher and see "Additional Tips" on page 29. The cycles run longer but the motors operate at lower wattage for energy efficiency. It also says that rinse aid is necessary for good drying performance. It states "Energy-efficient dishwashers use less water and energy, so they depend on the water sheeting action of rinse aid for good drying performance". This particular model automatically opens the door at the end of the cycle to let hot air out and fresh air in to aid in drying. It doesn't have a heating element to assist in drying like old dishwashers did. The first couple of loads I ran did not dry very well and the tub and racks were dripping wet. Then I added Finish rinse aid to the dispenser and used the extended dry setting and drying improved significantly. The only things that didn't come out completely dry were things that had recessed areas facing upwards, like coffee cups. At 44 decibles, this dishwasher is very quiet, hard to tell if it's running at times. But the colored LED light on the front, let's you know the current cycle status. The upper rack adjusts up/down a few inches which is nice and I like the 3rd rack for utensils. It allows you to remove the utensil basket on the lower rack if you want to for added capacity. I've used both the Normal and Sensor cycles for cleaning and they both do an excellent job.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My previous dishwasher broke (the "on" switch broke, and couldn't be replaced), so I needed a new one - and I'm so happy I found this one!!! I really like it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dishwasher is pretty good. Does a good cleaning job. Easy to add detergent and good job of drying. The installers left a lot to be desired. They said it wouldn’t fit under the counter before they even measured it and I told them it was an ADA dishwasher. I had to lend them the right socket so they could lower the old dishwasher s foot pads to remove it. They groused about having to install a GCFI plug. Three and a half hours later when they were done I reset the breaker to power it up I said it’s ready for you to check the machine the one guy remarked that I was smarter than I looked. My facial expression was my answer to him. If I ever need it repaired I hope it’s not them.
