Great purchase - will buy another if this one dies!

Would buy another!!!! Purchased in 2004 and have only had to change the bulb once!!! Only thing I'd like to see you do, indicate somewhere on the lamp, maybe on the base, which type of replacement bulb is needed.

I bought this to put in the living room for ease of reading and needlework. I ended up setting it up behind my desk to shine over my computer and onto my desk I LOVE IT. It is so versatile, sleek and adaptable for a variety of uses.

Hard to believe the difference

I bought a 13 watt Ott-Lite floor lamp for my father, but it was never put into use. When my husband complained about the lighting in our living room and being unable to read fine print, I brought out the Ott-Lite. What a difference it makes. We can now read fine print and see colors much more brightly that we could before. I think we'll be adding more Ott-Lite lamps and bulbs to our home.

Incredibly disappointed with this purchase. The bolt that’s supposed to anchor the stand is too small and doesn’t thread at all. I’ve called customer service and they sent me another bolt but it was the same size. I’ve had this lamp for weeks but haven’t been able to use it which makes it useless.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quite a few years ago I bought two black floor lamps and have one on each side of my Stressless Chair. My training as an architect I believe light should have two sources + for greatest effect such as reading, including rooms and window light. Also, 'daylight' replacement bulbs are essential as yellow light is terrible. LOVE my OttLight lamps and would be at a loss w/o them.
