Not Impressed - Bosch 800 Series

We purchased our 800 Series about 2.5 years ago and for the first two years it worked extremely well but sure enough as we are no longer under warranty we are having problems with it. The primary issue is the soap is not dropping into the bottom of the dishwasher which means its not dissolving and it's leaving the dishes dirty. It's also now making a very loud sawing/buzzing noise which seems to vary from wash to wash. This is our third Bosch Dishwasher and while the cleaning WAS the best of the bunch its reliability has left is disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best Ever Dishwasher

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We've had many different 18" dishwashers, but this is the best. It fits 10 place setting, while the others only held 6-8 max. The design maximizes this small size appliance in a great way. It's "sooo" quite too. Easy to program/use. It cleans the dishes better then our last. The "CrystalDry" feature ensures no water is left on dishes/cups after the drying cycle, which was a worry of mine, given it does not have a heating coil in the bottom of the unit. The installer did an excellent job, ensuring it was properly levelled in our 100+ year old house that was not perfectly level. My only criticism is it's overall height was about 2" shorter then all our previous washers, so there was a gap between the top of the washer and our kitchen countertop, even after the feet on the units were raised to their max level. Luckly, the packing material the unit was shipped in, had slats of solid wood that we cut to fit the gap perfectly and so the unit could be properly anchored to it. I just need to paint it white and no one will notice it.

Great compact dishwasher

We purchased the 800 series and love that it has all the features of the full size. It's so quite the red light indicator is a nice feature. The third rack and adjustable middle rack gives us plenty of room for our dishwashing needs

Best dishwasher

Very Quiet

I was surprised at how quiet this dishwasher is. The top rack for cutlery is a big improvement over my last dishwasher, and I like the being able to change the height of the the top rack (even changing the heights indepdentently to give more room to taller items on one side). There's a lot of flexibility within the racks themselves to slip spokes down for larger items, etc., so it has a good variety of options for a dishwasher of this size.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It’s intuitive and the display is difficult

This is a horrible design. You have to work to get it started and the controls do not give a feel of response. It will drive you crazy....is it on or not!

Great Appliance
