I'm enjoying it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The more I use this, the more I like it. I look at this as a hybrid product. It's a tablet, but also a home assistant device when it's docked. I can only compare the assistant aspect to a Lenovo (Smart Display 7) home assistant I was using.
With the speaker, the bass seems way too heavy. There are no volume options to configure EQ settings. Compared to my Lenovo, the functionality of the Pixel is far more superior, though. I love being able to use any app now. And I can have more in-depth conversations with the assistant. Before it was just asking a question and getting a simple answer (if that).
As for a tablet, it's great. The screen on this thing is crystal clear. The specs are solid. The tablet easily snaps onto the charging dock/speaker. And there is a USB-C port on there as well. No AUX, so you will need an adapter for any wired headphones.
Unless I'm completely oblivious to more customizable settings, there's practically no customizations for the dock screen/hub mode. Let me add some widgets on there please.
All-in-all, I'd recommend it. You may not get the functionality out of it like with some tablets out there, because like I said.. it's more of a home assistant/tablet hybrid. More in line for smart homes.

A Pixel Phone in Table Form

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll preface this by saying, I have largely adopted into the Google ecosystem, and thus I get a lot of value by having this smoothly interact with my other devices in my home. Most significantly, my Pixel phone. But that smooth integration meant setup took less than 5 mins. I was using the device almost immediately, and that was a pleasantly unique experience. When I set up my wife's iPad Mini, it took significantly longer, as we had to create an apple id (or recover her old id I think), and set up the accounts from scratch.
The Pixel table has a satisfying screen, with solid resolution, and an excellent 16:10 aspect ratio. The color is vibrant, and the brightness is more than adequate for any environment.
This is by far the most responsive interface experience of any phone or table I've used. Swiping between screens is quick and feel buttery smooth, apps open quickly. It's a very enjoyable table to work on. I haven't loaded it up with data, so I can't speak to what happens after the storage starts to fill up, but as a new device, the user experience is phenomenal.
The draw backs to this table are the okay speaker/charging station. As a charging station it is great. but as a speaker, it is just okay. I can't tell any difference between the audio quality on this dock, or my less expensive Nest Hub. I wish they would have improved on that audio quality, because I could see myself really wanting to use the speaker for music more often if it was better.
The screen is so good, but it's so reflective. It's like a mirror and that's disappointing in bright environments. I suggest getting a matte screen protector, or one that cuts way back on the reflective nature of the screen.
Finally, as a newer product, the options available for cases and accessories are super limited.
All that said, this is by far my favorite table I've owned, and was so easy to set up and use, that I'd recommend it as a no brainer for anyone in the Android ecosystem. Finally an android tablet that look forward to using.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't use tablets much since I usually will use my desktop or laptop if I'm on the go. But this tablet is very different. The fact that it has a dock really changes how I use it. I keep it docked in my office and use it to play videos or music while I work. The dock speaker is really nice and since it is a tablet I can install whatever app I want to play media from. Add on top of that it has the ability for me to Chromecast media to it as well, it is the perfect tool for me to use while working. The fact that the dock is detachable means I can carry it along with me when I am going to another room. And then just dock it when I'm back. Something that would be too much of a nuisance to do with a laptop. If it was on a TV I couldn't bring it with me when I left the room. It has taken over as the main media hub for my office room. Amazing tablet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this tablet with its speaker dock. It is easy to set up and use. I had no problems installing software that I use daily. It plays games and movies beautifully. The gadget clock makes me smile, I don't know why but I love it. We all stop to watch the Screensaver as it rolls my Google pictures. It docks easily with a magnet to hold it on the speaker. The speaker it's self is a great addition, it makes everything sound amazing!
The bad parts I've found is the speaker has to be plugged in the while time to get that wonderful sound, you can't just unplug the speaker. It doesn't use the tablets battery to power it. Also no matter how long I leave the tablet on the speaker my tablet never charges over 87%.

Google Pixel Tablet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Google Pixel Tablet feels sturdy when I hold it. The picture is very good, with colors that are vivid and accurate, so watching movies is great! I was already using Google Home and several Google devices, including a Nest, Pixel phones, and a TV, so the Pixel tablet seamlessly joined the family. Set up was straightforward and easy by just following the onscreen prompts. I really like that multiple profiles with separate sign in credentials can be used on it. The audio is good for a tablet, but the speaker dock is better. If I'm listening to music on the tablet and put it on the dock, the audio switches to the speaker dock almost instantly. I can also cast the music on my phone to the tablet when it's on the dock. The tablet attaches to the dock in landscape position with magnets that are strong enough to keep it from falling off even when my cat bumps into it. I find it easier to remove the tablet from the dock with two hands, but I can do it with one by tipping up the bottom of the tablet. It is hard to adjust the volume with one hand when it's docked because it can fall off the dock when pressing the buttons on top. If I take the tablet outside the home, I will leave the dock at home and bring a USB-C cable for charging. Overall, it's a great tablet for watching movies, playing games, and as a smart home hub.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Google Pixel Tablet with Charging Speaker Dock has literally become the hub of our home. So much of our home is "smart" and this has become the place to operate the HVAC, lights, generator, cameras and more! It's docked in our kitchen giving the entire family access. It keeps us on task...displays the time, temp and air quality. Speaking of access, each member has their own profile with their own stuff. The charging speaker dock is cool too. We play music often and love it for that! It looks great on my counter and I can't live without it! It's really awesome!

Missed opportunities but still Excellent Tablet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a review of the Google Pixel Tablet with Charging Speaker Dock. I’ve been using this for a couple weeks now and here are my initial thoughts. Setup is very smooth and straight forward, especially if you have another android phone/tablet you’ve been using as it gives you the option to sync them. Responsiveness to touch is the best I’ve experienced in tablets. Screen size is 10.95 inches and resolution 2560x1600. This is in line with other high-end tablets and not QHD but full HD and I’ve watched a couple movies on it and was very happy with the resolution. I got the 128gb version and that is adequate for my use. Unfortunately, there is no expandable storage. As a matter of fact the only thing you can plug into this is a usb-c plug (not included ☹). When docked you can play music thru the dock but I feel the dock speakers are just adequate and prefer the sound thru my other google home devices. You can Bluetooth to other devices but haven’t figured out how to Bluetooth to the dock, so I believe the dock speakers only work when the tablet is docked. There is no headphone jack as most newer devices are no longer including that, but Bluetooth on this works very well. I’ve been very happy with the Bluetooth connections, casting, etc. There is also no cellular option but I did a couple video calls and was very happy with the results. Of course that is YMMV depending on wifi connection. There is a fingerprint reader top right that also acts as the power button. I’m still getting used to the fingerprint part and use but it is in an awkward position if you have your tablet in a case. I have mine docked in the kitchen and it works well as a hub and google assistance is very responsive. While docked it will only charge to 90% - I believe this is to save the battery. So far, the battery life is the best of all my tablets/phones. I know I checked at one point and after 82 hours of uptime it was still at 38%. There is both a front and back 8mp camera which I feel is just adequate in today’s marketplace. Tablet is lightweight but does feel like it’s on the high end of build quality and comfortable to hold. Overall, I am happy with the pixel tablet, but feel it missed a few opportunities that I’m sure will be addressed in future versions. As I was already part of the google home eco-system the integration of the tablet is definitely of higher value to me and integration was seamless.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Google Pixel Tablet with Charging Speaker Dock 128GB Android tablet has a 11" display. It comes with speaker dock and wall adapter. The speaker dock is nice and it keeps your tablet charged 24/7. The tablet can also be charged with a USB-C cable (not included). This tablet was easy to set up, just follow the step by step instructions. The speaker dock is great for using Google assistant hands free. The speaker has a nice sound. The tablet is nice size and has great video quality, great for watching videos and movies. You can multi-task with 2 apps using split screen. This tablet can have up to 8 different user profiles, so when someone else is using the tablet they only see their own profile & their own apps. This Google Pixel Tablet has great quality and it is very responsive. I have never had a Google device so it is taking some getting use to. My only con so far is some of the apps I use are not compatible with this device. Overall it is a pretty good tablet.
