Easy installation, light on resources

The instructions were pretty straightforward. My computer performance did not slow down after installation.

Value for money!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using ESET for a bit now, and honestly, it’s been great. It runs super smoothly and doesn’t slow down my laptop, even when it’s scanning. The protection feels solid — especially against newer viruses and ransomware — so I feel pretty safe using it.
I really like the extra features too. The secure browser for banking is handy, and the anti-theft option is something I didn’t know I needed. The VPN they added is also a nice bonus.
Overall, it’s easy to use, lightweight, and packed with useful tools. I’m really happy with it so far.Not as complex as I thought it would be and well worth the money.

Great security software

I also love the built in VPN. The protection seems to be very reliable and adequate. Overall, great security software!

Good for peace of mind

The web cam protection also provides peace of mind. I also like the anti-device theft features. The regular reports are nice to have as well.

It's a partial trial

I see online that the ESET Home Premium comes with antivirus, firewall protection as well as a VPN which I was most excited for. I had started off by setting the account up on my phone which was easy and straight forward, however everything but the VPN worked. I reached out to the support team and they were very responsive. Unfortunately I found out the VPN is not supported on the trial license which doesn't make much sense to me. How are you supposed to temporarily trial a product that they don't give you access to? I have the antivirus turned on and it shows it's protecting my computer. Still disappointed about not being able to try the features that come with the premium account that the trial was for

Piece of Mind

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter who is away in school used this on her tablet. Its nice to know her device is protected.ESET was very easy to set up.
It took us abou5 ten minutes to fully put in the subscription and wecan add new members to my family later if we would like to.
The Antivirus downloaded quickly and efficiently. It is great to now feel that her device is protected.

Good overall, just a few small issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using ESET HOME Security Premium for a bit now and it works really well. For the speed, it doesn’t slow down my computer, and most things run in the background without me even noticing. The layout is pretty simple, and the security features seem solid.
I’m giving it 4 stars because a few settings are kind of confusing, and it took me a while to figure out how to use some of the extra features. A bit more guidance would help.
Other than that, it’s reliable and does what it’s supposed to do. I’m happy with it.
