Strong protection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the rest home security to test for free for my review from influenster. I found the software to be very easy to install and smooth to operate. I was worried to install at first as I assumed it would slow down my computer but I didn't notice a difference. I found that it offers protection I didn't have previously when on the web which I found very affective and added protection for my banking info ect. Overall the added security has been great to have the only down size is if I choose to continue it does cost.

Solid, easy protection without slowing down my com

The installation was quick and straightforward and I appreciated that I didn’t need to be super techy to set it up. The interface feels clean and a lot less overwhelming than some other security apps I’ve used. It always comes updated with the latest version.
What I like most is that it just works in the background without slowing my computer down. I barely notice it’s there, which is exactly what I want from security software. I also feel genuinely protected. ESET has flagged a couple of issues that other programs have missed and that has given me a lot more confidence in it. The extra features, like banking protection and the ability to use it across my devices, have been really helpful.
It’s not perfect though. I did run into a small hiccup during account creation and I can see how the dashboard might feel a bit confusing for someone brand new to antivirus software. And as an iPhone user, I do wish they had a dedicated iOS app.
Overall, ESET has given me peace of mind without bogging down my computer and that alone makes it worth it for me. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for solid, dependable protection.
