Using ESET Home Security Essential (2025 Edition), I found it very easy to set up and navigate, even for someone who isn’t especially tech-savvy. The layout is clean, simple, and not overwhelming, which makes it great for beginners or anyone who just wants strong protection without having to learn a complicated system. I’m basically computer illiterate and could do it to without help. (that says a lot!😆)
Using ESET Home Security Essential (2025 Edition), I found it very easy to set up and navigate, even for someone who isn’t especially tech-savvy. The layout is clean, simple, and not overwhelming, which makes it great for beginners or anyone who just wants strong protection without having to learn a complicated system. I’m basically computer illiterate and could do it to without help. (that says a lot!😆)
That said, it does feel more “basic” compared to some newer or more advanced security suites on the market. While it covers all the essentials well, it doesn’t offer as many modern extras or customization options as some of the latest versions from other brands.
Overall, I’d recommend it for anyone who wants reliable, straightforward protection without the headache, especially if you prefer something user-friendly over feature-heavy software. ;)

Basic all in one antivirus

One minor problem is that it always runs on the background and might reduce RAM usage, but if you’re not doing anything that uses high RAM it should be fine or you could disable the startup scan (defeating the whole antivirus purpose). Never had experience with support before but we’ll see in future… Best feature is web protection
