This printer is strange. When it hasn't been used for a few days, whenever I print a document it spends a minimum of 5 minutes whirring and clicking. I hear the print cartridge carriage moving back and forth numerous times and the print rollers attempting to load paper. Eventualyy it does print and the print quality is quite good. Its start up sequence is both annoying and a bit unsettling. I'm not sure if this is normal but I've had it long enough that I don't have the emotioal energy to persue the issue. This is most likely the last HP printer I'll ever purchase.
The HP923e EvoMore yellow cartridge fit well. I print a lot of pictures and would say it lasted as well if not a little better than my normal HP cartridges. My only problem was my printer would keep showing I was not using a genuine HP cartridge. And continued showing this until I replaced it with my normal cartidge.
It is hard for me to find it for sale and it is hard to replace it when it is empty. I have no idea about replacing cartridges' which I never did before. I have always used HP inks for my older printers and had no trouble finding replacements.
