green discoloration on the inside of the steel ket

anyone know anything about the green discoloration on the inside of the steel kettle? The kettle works quickly. Only had it for six months but so far so good. I am wondering about the green color at the bottom of the inside though.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Kettle

This is the finest electric kettle I have owned by far. More like a smartphone than a kettle. Although it has multiple settings and functions, it is very intuitive to use. It is also sleek and aesthetic.
I would recommend this to a friend!
