This is my first electric kettle and I'm delighted with it. It's efficient, boils water very quickly, and is very beautiful as it sits on the counter of my small kitchen. I particularly appreciate that it's not complex nor does it have lots of details, switches, various buttons or gradations. It simply boils water with an on/off switch. I use it to make pour-over coffee in a Chemex and to make tea and it works brilliantly. I also really value that it's lined with stainless steel and not plastic. Excellent all around.

Working pretty good but with notes on improvement

Just had it for about a month. Working okay. It is true from some reviews that when you press the button and the lid opens, sometimes hot water drips down the side and sometimes the hot drips fling out from the force of the lid opening. I'm not thrilled about it but it's just a few drips. What I'm more concerned about is how long the heating element boils the water very hot for probably 5 seconds too long before it automatically shuts off. I don't have a temperature control on this model and I don't want the controlled temperature model but this boils very hot by default. It boils a little too hot for too long. Like I said, the entire kettle is shaking from the rolling boils for 5 seconds too long before it shuts off. You should adjust the product to shut off the heat a little sooner.

Sleek Stainless Steel
