Worth the investment!

I’m new to NYC so the summers here are brutal! I was looking into AC units this summer and a AD for Windmill popped up! I was intrigued with the sleek design but mostly the QUIET feature. I live by the train so that in itself is already loud, I didn’t want my AC unit to add to the noise. All in all I can say that Windmill is VERY quiet even tho I love that it’s silent I came to find that the best feature is the WiFi/app connection. Now, when I’m 30 min away from home I can turn on my AC from the app on my phone and arrive to a cooled home!!! Game changer! Definitely worth the investment for my situation.

I absolutely love this window AC. I have 2 of the bigger ones in other rooms that I've had for years and was so excited to see this small one. It cools my daughter's room so efficiently. It's quiet and looks amazing. I cannot recommend it enough!

I couldn’t be happier with my Windmill AC unit. It’s sleek, modern, and blends perfectly with my apartment decor—nothing like the bulky, outdated window units I’ve had before. Installation was a breeze (took me less than 15 minutes), and it fits securely with no rattling or drafts.The cooling power is impressive—it chills the room quickly and evenly, and the fan is super quiet, even on higher settings. I love the app and smart features too; being able to control it remotely and set schedules has been a game-changer for comfort and energy savings.Windmill has clearly thought through every detail, from the cleanable air filters to how easy it is to get replacement parts. If you want an air conditioner that actually looks good and works flawlessly, this is the one. Highly recommend!

Redefines what a window AC unit can be

I HATE window unit ACs. Like, with a passion, hate them. They are always dirty, dusty, smelly, loud and fall into the necessary evil category. I did not want to take a chance on this Windmill unit, but I did, begrudgingly. Well, I have been so happy to be proven wrong: this Windmill AC is WAY better than any window AC I have ever seen... I have seen many! It’s great for my office and no one can even tell it’s on during calls (& I sit right next to it). So pleased!

We had originally ordered two Windmill 8,000 BTU units and one was great but the other rattled and was quite noisy. We were disappointed since one of the selling points of Windmill is that they are quieter than most. Customer service worked with us to trouble shoot but nothing helped. They then sent us a second unit in a very timely manner, and with no hassle. I would recommend this product and company to anyone without reservation!!

I am disappointed that it not as quite as I thought it would be. Installation was easy and instructions easy to follow. I'm not sure I would recommend it.

Super Quiet

When I first turned it on, I wasn't even sure it was on! The compressor makes a tiny bit of noise when it first comes on for 4-5 seconds, and then after that I can barely hear it. It cools the room much more quickly than my old unit. After that, I can use the Eco mode to maintain the temperature. I was able to install the app with no issues.
