Louder than expected

We purchased the whisper tech option but the AC still rattles loudly. It is as secure as we are able to make it, so I believe that it might be faulty.

8,300 BTU does NOT cool out 270 sq foot room

It's a good looking a/c but it doesn't cool our room. We have had this a/c on since last night, and it's 80F out right now. The room we have the a/c in is at 72F (as indicated in the a/c unit). It's not a strong a/c. 8,200 BTU should technically cool a room sized 350 sq feet. Our room us 270 sq feet. Now I wish we went for the bigger 10,000 btu. But we went w this size on the advice of the Windmill website. Frustrating.

Perfect Solution

I have a small art studio about 100 yards through the woods from my home. I rarely went there during the summer days because it was such a pain to go out, turn on the A/C, and then go back to the house and wait for the studio to cool down. Now I can do everything remotely. What a GREAT solution! The installation was easy (except for part where we had to carry it along a wooded path for 100 yards ... HEAVY!). Cooling is efficient and quiet. I'm so glad I made this investment in my artistic life!

Quiet but powerful

I love my new Windmill AC. It cools my living room quickly and quietly but without that artificial iciness that most ACs put out. The air feels natural. The design is modern and low-profile and isn't an eyesore like traditional ACs. Since hotter summers are our new normal, I'm glad to have some relief to come home to!

Beautiful AC... would not even think of putting another unit in based off looks alone, however the cooling is also 2nd to none. This unit is a home run.

Quiet and efficient

I love this AC, it cools my whole downstairs very quickly and is so quiet. Easy to install and more sleek looking than other ACs. I had an issue with my AC at first that it was making a weird noise and they were extremely responsive and helpful in fixing the issue.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I’m a huge fan! I purchased a new AC for my bedroom last summer, and was so impressed by the combination of cool and quiet I couldn’t wait to start replacing old units for other rooms in my house. My room has one, my wife’s home office has one, and my downstairs has a 12,000 BTU one that handles 3 rooms! I also have an air purifier and fan in my kid’s rooms, so they don’t feel left out.
I would recommend this to a friend!
