Awesome connectivity with laptops

Brilliant, except for low light scenes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use the TV in the family room, so it’s the main TV viewed by everyone at home.
Everything else is fine, but the low light scenes are impossible to watch on this TV. Black color is one a dark hole … everything disappears in it and you can barely see anything.
The daylight scenes (which are shown in the TV stores) are brilliant and that made us buy it. But the blacks are toooo dark and disappointing

We appreciate your input on the picture quality of Samsung's S85D TV. If the image you’re seeing doesn't meet your expectations, there are several adjustments you can make to the picture settings.
Go to Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode ...and select the mode that best fits your usage:
1. Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments 2. Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments 3. Eco: Provided to save energy 4. Movie: Suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room 5. Filmmaker Mode: Provides source content just as the creators intended. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it’ll automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.
Intelligent Mode enables the TV to recognize and analyze the surroundings, noise, content, and your usage patterns to provide the best viewing experience. You can enable Intelligent Mode by going to Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Intelligent Mode Settings > Intelligent Mode.

Great Picture! Great Value!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the clarity, sharpness, depth of blacks and vivid colors. So much better than my previous TV. I can’t say enough about the quality, color and general view of this tv. I didn’t give it 5 stars due to a couple of things which may not even be the issue with the tv itself. I have not been able to get the sleep timer to be set to 60 minutes. I can only get 30 minutes to respond. Yes, it does have 60 minutes time available - at one point it was 60 minutes. But, I cannot get it back to 60 minutes. Often, the sound is not in sync with the picture. I believe this is an issue with the transmission of picture and sound and not the tv. Samsung has always been a great product and this TV is a great choice.

I can not be happier with my purchase.
