Stop functioning after 6 years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a replacement unit I purchased because the first one broke after 6 years. The microwave function ceased to work and repeatly tripped the breaker at the main electrical panel.

No Combination cooking or roasting!

Warning, My HMV8054U was just installed, yes it's a combination microwave and convection but you cannot use both features together for a combination cooking mode!! I didn't understand that. I bought the Bosch microwave to go with a new Bosch Dual Fuel stove. Combination cooking was a key feature for me. I'm very dissapointed in the purchase.

Love Bosch Appliances!!

I bought the 800 series microwave and love it!
I bought the refrigerator with the wine storage drawer and electric convection oven and dishwasher and they are all great!!
The dishwasher is very quiet.

Vent does not work

If you don't vent the microwave outside the vent picks up nothing. You have to remove the carbon filter to get any sort of suction.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A few years ago during a winter storm my microwave filled with water, after insurance gave me the go I went shopping. I found this unit and wanted it, however it was not within the bracket range that my insurance approved me for, sadly I purchased a different unit. Only 3 months after the warranty passed broke. This time my finances lined up and I was able to purchase my dream Microwave/Convection. I am so excited about this unit! Not only is this unit great but the Bosch Customer Service has been great to work with, I couldn't ask for more.
