Who knew you could love a microwave?!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave really does it all! When my salesman said just that, I truly had no idea. My 16 year old tested it & baked cookies. In. The. Microwave. Amazing. You don't have to heat up the kitchen. It's a breeze to keep the interior clean & it doesn't hang onto smells, like burnt popcorn. Truly worth the splurge for this microwave!

Bosch microwave and convection oven

functioning microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a functioning and very nice looking microwave. Have not used the bake feature, but that will come handy during the holidays. One thing annoying about this microwwave is that it has 5 vent levels, which is unnecessary and one has to push the button many times to turn the vent off. A high and a low level are sufficient.

Big upgrade from our 17+ year older one

During our remodeling, we decided to get an extraction over the roof, and even though this combo isn't as strong as a stand-alone hood would be, it is still strong enough for our use.
The microwave was a massive upgrade from our older version, and it took some time to get accustomed to it.

Great appliance

The only thing I would suggest to Bosch, is that they backlight the selection panel. It would make selections easier in darker kitchens.

Not as expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not thrilled that the 800 series microwave doesn't match the quality of the 800 series black stainless steel dishwasher and 800 series induction black stainless steel stove, were as the display on the on the dishwasher and stove are hard plastic touch controls. The microwave has a cheap sticker control panel. Also you can't adjust display brightness to match the stove. Also the sticker has bubbles that are totally visible and and won't stick flush
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
