Scary and dangerous with sparks

It worked a out 2 years and most of the time we wanted to use and start it, it sparks with very loud and scary sound, and stops working. Last time it sparked and sound was almost like an explosion and it never worked again. This is really safety concern level to have this microvave in kitchen. It's out of warranty due to more than a year in use but this is really product quality issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bosch 300 series

I've had this microwave for 5 years now and the only complain I have is the outer stainless housing came unglued 2 years ago and I've tried everything to get it back to stick. Other than that I had no problems with it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bosch 300 Series Microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to replace my Bosch Microwave this month and chose this model because it could be installed without any adjustments to the previous mount. None of the stores in my area had any Bosch Microwaves on display.
I am extremely disappointed with this model, the numbers and words are extremely small and almost impossible to read. The glare from the black panel they are written on does not help either, and there is no back lighting. I cannot imagine why they chose this panel design.
Seriously, get out your reading glasses and a flashlight!! And Yes, I removed the protective film.
I rated it a 1 because if you can't see what you're trying to do it's pretty worthless.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Purchased this unit to replace exact same one that was purchased 7 years ago. Original unit had to be serviced 3 times (internal fuses) Replaced with Bosch again only because it had to match all of the existing Bosch appliances. Not happy with quality. Dishwasher serviced once. Refrigerator needed gasket replacement and ice maker replaced. All units installed 7 years ago
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Best Microwave

Besides cooking everything evenly, it is the quietest microwave I have ever owned. The bright white interior Gives you easy viewing to make sure everything is cleaned after finishing up all the aspects of cooking or heating up our meals. It's a great microwave!

Not as good as the previous version; same price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced an older 300 series microwave with this model. The templates and installation instructions were not exactly right -- the instructions called for three bolts in the top, but the unit only has two. The bolt hole locations were off, and the power cord hole was indicated on the wrong side of the template.
The unit itself fits perfectly, but Bosch took out a lot of the nice bells and whistles in the previous model. The light only has one brightness level, and there's no light timer. A lot of the one-touch buttons are gone. But the old unit's light shields were no longer replaceable, and the chrome trim at the top fell off due to age in the plastic ears. Hoping that this unit lasts fifteen years. It matches our other Bosch appliances, is quieter than the previous microwave, and does a fine job defrosting, reheating and other basic microwave tasks. Would have gone with the next model up, but the vertical depth was just a bit too big to fit our existing tile backsplash. Adequate would describe this unit.
