I love my screaming fast new computer. I just wish you had little info - somewhere - to explain how to set up a dual monitor system. After research I figured out that I needed to use the Display Port. I don't mind buying the cable, but being a home user with no experience - it took awhile to figure out what that funny looking port was for ! Its fantastic that its there and now my system is functioning beautifully with two monitors, but maybe add that to the quick setup information.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Desktop PC freezes repeatedly. Still troubleshooting. USB ports lock up if both wireless USB plug and a USB thumbdrive are inserted at same time.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So people bust on me for buying a desktop PC and not a laptop. Well I guess I'm just old school. The HP Envy Desktop TE01-1165t PC is a great little machine. I love the dual hard drives and it was a breeze to setup. I work with PCs for a living so I'm a little bias on the breeze part but I'm very confident that even the most novice will find it very user friendly. I don't do a lot with my PC but it is great for Adults who are running a home and kids looking for some gaming action. I play Steam games and the response of the PC is great! I know Win 10 is big part of the overall experience but the hardware is extremely complimentary to the Win 10 OS. It came with a beautiful wireless keyboard and mouse. They feel and look very modern. Only a little issue. The "0" on the number keypad on the right of the keyboard sticks a little bit but not a big deal. I'm going to call and see if I can get it replaced. Overall that is the only detractor to this PC. I also purchased a beautiful HP 27" PC and it compliments the PC beautifully.
I always did like HP over all the others. This is not my first one. They all ran grate and I still have them in working order. This one is the faster of them all. Plays all the games I play on max settings and still keep the fps maxed out on all the games. Boots up in a few seconds, load games fast and I have them on the 1 TB HDD. The OS is on the SSD, But the computer has no lag at all, and is faster then I thought it would be while gaming, Everything on this computer is really fast, I will keep buying HP computers for a long time, So are they are the best out of all the computers I had in my life time so far,
Great PC with plenty of Performance at a superb price.

With Windows 11 OS preinstalled the time to boot and log in is far improved from the Windows 10 PC we were previously using. That's a huge improvement. It has plenty of processing power and is excellent for all browsing and application usage. We are very pleased with this PC except for the ON/Off button. It appears the styling won over practicality in the power button design. The power button is recessed and very thin causing a difficulty when trying to start and stop the PC. It appears to be sized and designed based on the case design rather than ergonomics. My wife and I find this to be a surprise since all other components and performance are excellent and at a very attractive price. The on/off power button on the front case should be larger and easier to use.
The machine is great. Best PC I’ve ever had. The problem is that the salesman told me that the USB-C port was Thunderblot compatible. It wasn’t. Again, the unit does what it is made to do but I needed Thunderbolt.
This tower desktop HP computer is working fine since recently installed. I find the power button off-putting, a small slit of a tab to power on/off. It is a little sleeker from the last Pavilion I had. I feel a small pamphlet describing the computer's features should be included in delivery; I've seen the manual online, but I would like a manual to describe what the large open slit is and how to run the CD player.
