two different front views (no dvd slot) no back or inside view - back has primitive usb ports. spec says has second m.2, but occupied by comms. does not say if has internal cables - one sata data for one drive, power for 2. should say at least 4 sata connectors on mb. told only one hd, but can add 2 x 2.5 ssd. hence max storage > 2 tb.
spec confuses what can be configured as opposed to what supported.
1tb m.2 ssd with two 2.5 ssd drives goes like a rocket.
The transition from a laptop to a desktop computer has been a challenging experience. It is one that I knew would present a challenge. However, it was a change that I really felt was necessary to support my increased usage of my computer. There were many changes as I made this transition that I did not consider. You never think about all the devices like speakers, cameras and other accessories that you take for granted after many years of using a laptop.
The HP Envy is basically a commodity and has been the perfect system for me. It has enough power for me and is relatively quiet. The RTX 4060 graphics card may not be the newest but it is more than enough for the few older games I have. I also like the HP Support Assistant for updates. Given the price I paid, I am very happy with the system.
