The set and design are very cool.
But the size, which is very small IMO, and the number of small pieces that bump up the total makes this one very expensive for what you get.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a cool piece. My son loves building Legos, and this was awesome for him. He's 13 and even though the box says 18 and over, it wasnt difficult for him to build. It kept him entertained instead of using electronics.

Of all the droids LEGO has released, this easily goes in the top 3. And they can ball up and roll. Be quiet and take my money! 😊

I have a bad feeling about this

It seems TLG has been trapped into the Disney StarWars down fall. This like many Star Wars themed sets really has no place. The scale is completely off and the mini fig scaled figure is the worst design yet. Was really looking forward to Clone Wars Era sets again however at this time back to Pick a Brick I go

Set was very fun to build and looks great. I really like any type of battle droid themed set.
My only complaint is that the instructions had a mistake which messed me up when building. It calls for X1 right & X2 left wedge plates when it actually needs X2 right & X1 left wedge plates.
Come on LEGO® you’re a huge company. Don’t you pay somebody to build & verify everything is correct in sets before making thousands of them?

Perfect Build

I can't imagine a droideka build being more source-accurate, better display size, or more enjoyable of a build. I was honestly blown away by how much I enjoyed the build and how good it looks on my shelf. It's just big enough to show all its detail without hogging too much room. I think this is a highly slept-on set!
