Great build for 9 year old

My grandson who is 9 usually does bigger builds. I bought this set because he loves Gru and the minions. He enjoyed it a great deal. It was an easy build compared to the 18+ builds I usually buy for special occasions. It is cute and colorful. Took him one evening. Great value for the money also.

We were originally gifted this set for me to do as I recovered from a surgery. Loved doing it so much I purchased a set for a friend who will be recovering from hip surgery. My husband and I really enjoyed doing it and I highly recommend it for all ages.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Putting this together was so fun, challenging at times, but fun! I absolutely love the minions and this Lego set is a perfect addition to my collection☺️. The design of the set is beautifully made, the blocks are not flimsy, very sturdy after putting together.

I liked how detailed and interesting this build was. Each minion had a similar base build which I thought was nice and easy to follow. I love the different “costumes” each of them had. Gru’s posture and features were spot on. Overall great build.
