Beautiful set, but piece stuffing
on April 6, 2024
Posted by: PrettiestReservedYak
I have loved building this set and don’t regret purchasing it. But the piece stuffing in this set is extreme. When I first saw it on display, I was a little underwhelmed at the size of it. Based on the piece count, I was expecting much larger. Now I know why. There are sooooo many parts that could have easily been built with a single piece, but instead Lego has taken the piece and divided it up in to multiple pieces that serve zero purpose. It’s soooo frustrating seeing this happen on sets more and more often. This set was the worst I have ever seen. Still a beautiful set and I love it. But can’t but feeling price gouged on it as well.

Honest opinion
on May 28, 2024

I buy all things related to Batman being a huge fan of the animated series and Batman in general. In my honest opinion and experience building this Lego set it was fun. Buuutt I don’t think it was worth the money. The reasoning why I’ve come to this conclusion is because comparative to the daily bugle you had a lot of characters and this animated series one came with 4 figurines. I didn’t like the sticker replacements and I feel it was very cheap on LEGO to not include at least a few more characters from the show. That’s my biggest complaint with this Lego set. Everything else was great.

Fun, looks great…but flawed
on April 17, 2024

So once built it looks great, and hangs on wall with all my other Lego Batman builds. I made a change to where the minifigs I set in place on the top right into the frame outline(in pics). Dislikes- Price!! Especially after it was completed there are 163 EXTRA pieces, Why!?! Also plenty of pieces that coulda been merged into others and made things more streamlined and easier installs, which woulda made this a better seller to Lego fans. Easily the most amount and I have the giant Batwing/Tumbler/giant SW Republic Gunship UCS too. The hidden stickers are pointless imo since no one is really gonna take it apart once done. You do have several sections where u gotta use your brain to make sure the pieces fit, even if u have to go back to proceed further.

For this to be one of bigger builds. the value for this set doesn’t seem worth it. Too many stickers and the build doesn’t make much sense. i bought it because its something different from my usual lego purchases but not worth the price

Very poor wall hanging design!
on June 19, 2024
Posted by: 1Siksrt
First and foremost if you are purchasing to hang on the wall, the whole thing is warped and will never sit flat against wall!!!! The design is extremely poor for hanging on the wall. The mounting hooks are mounted in the middle of the piece. Since this is the most expensive wall art piece it should sit flat against wall like EVERY other wall mountable piece. The top of the build uses cheap red squares that are warped out of the box. Also there is not enough rigidity to keep it straight. Honestly if I could return it I would. Purchase at your own risk!

Overall: NOT WORTH THESE PRICES
on April 5, 2024

As lego becomes less expensive to make. The prices keep going up and out of control. Sure, it’s cool to go by the store and see the one set NO ONE can afford and say, “wow, I wish I had that”, but they have gotten to the point where nearly all the sets are getting priced out of control. Now sure, say you save and save and maybe sell that vintage car you were going to restore, but even then, you can really only afford ONE of these crazy expensive sets and you torture yourself trying to choose the one you’re going to buy. Now if you’re a kid…. Forget it! No paper delivery route is ever going to earn you enough money to ever buy one and maybe you’ve saved enough to finally get one of these sets, guess what?? It’s retired, or never in stock, or they’ve released ten other sets you’ve gotta save up even more for. I’ve collected lego sets off and on for the better part of 40 years and in retrospect wish I’d have just saved all that money and purchased the real Ferrari I always loved.
I’m pretty confident that the Penguin has taken over Lego. It’s the only reason no upper-middle class kid can’t possibly afford maybe more than a a few sets vs when I was a kid and could have collected a full series without having to choose one or two of dozens. Hearts a breaking as people realize you’re better off buying lego stock instead of lego sets

Poor structural design
on May 28, 2024
Posted by: runfaj
Most of the set relies on fairly thin plates only a couple layers thick. So the entire set bends in from side to side and top to bottom over an entire centimeter. It is very distracting and makes it undisplayable. Frankly this entire set needs a full structural redesign and lego should be disappointed in releasing such a poor set.

If your set seems like it's not very sturdy, the best thing to do is double-check your build. Sometimes there may be a piece just a little off from where it should be. You’ll also want to make sure that all the pieces are pressed tightly together. Feel free to reach out to us at LEGO.build/Service-BV if you need assistance!
