Honest opinion

I buy all things related to Batman being a huge fan of the animated series and Batman in general. In my honest opinion and experience building this Lego set it was fun. Buuutt I don’t think it was worth the money. The reasoning why I’ve come to this conclusion is because comparative to the daily bugle you had a lot of characters and this animated series one came with 4 figurines. I didn’t like the sticker replacements and I feel it was very cheap on LEGO to not include at least a few more characters from the show. That’s my biggest complaint with this Lego set. Everything else was great.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor structural design

Most of the set relies on fairly thin plates only a couple layers thick. So the entire set bends in from side to side and top to bottom over an entire centimeter. It is very distracting and makes it undisplayable. Frankly this entire set needs a full structural redesign and lego should be disappointed in releasing such a poor set.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If your set seems like it's not very sturdy, the best thing to do is double-check your build. Sometimes there may be a piece just a little off from where it should be. Batman: The Animated Series Gatham City

Absolutely love this set. I had been looking for a Gotham City- Night City Scape. This Dark Deco Art Set with its "Dynamic" colors, 3 dimensional builds, and fun hidden references throughout is beyond fun to build! Because of the "dynamic" colors, the set is easy to build, even for a person who has visual trouble in 3-D, any mistakes made...stand out on close inspection. I am mainly a mindstorm's robotic fan, but this set temporarily took priority over my favorite pass time. (I have one small correction that could help those of us that have vision problems-(on page 42 of the manual , drawing 36, if you could rotate the image so that the circular plate is show with its top to one side of the 1x8 plate and the the bottom hanging below the 1X8 plate, subsequent pictures 38, 39 show this a little better. Oh, I really enjoyed having a manual, so I could escape the computer for a while. I like the great job that Lego is doing with computerized schematics which are necessary for technic and robotics projects, but more magnification, rotation, and color would enhance that further for a person with visual 3-D problems. The Dynamic colors used in this set
made seeing much easier.

Nostalgic Fun

The LEGO Batman set is a dream to build. It recreates Gotham City with great detail and includes all the iconic characters like Batman and Joker. Many easter eggs that are only seen by the builder such as The Batcave and Arkham Asylum. I had some difficulty identifying some of the colors of bricks compared to the instructions, but it didn't slow my build. A must-have for LEGO and Batman fandom.

Great art set

Fun to build with my wife. Grew up with the show, so it was nice remembering the episodes with each bag. Definitely will be on my wall with a lighting kit added.
