Great display set

Love the set as a Batman and Lego fan. While stickers are annoying it did not make or break this set. The only drawback to me is the size, it doesn’t appear to want to sit flat unless it is hung and even then I can tell the sides start to bow out.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Beautiful set, but piece stuffing

I have loved building this set and don’t regret purchasing it. But the piece stuffing in this set is extreme. When I first saw it on display, I was a little underwhelmed at the size of it. Based on the piece count, I was expecting much larger. Now I know why. There are sooooo many parts that could have easily been built with a single piece, but instead Lego has taken the piece and divided it up in to multiple pieces that serve zero purpose. It’s soooo frustrating seeing this happen on sets more and more often. This set was the worst I have ever seen. Still a beautiful set and I love it. But can’t but feeling price gouged on it as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This was probably my favorite build out of nearly any set I own. Each bag tells a story and creates a unique details to a set that will ultimately be displayed like a true piece of art. All of the removable panels with little cartoon surprises behind them mean you can come back to the set often and reconfigure it if you want. I love all the colors and textures they used!
I would recommend this to a friend!

BTAS' Skyline.

It is really great how accurate and detailed the buildings are despited the micro-scale size. I compared them side-by-side with the show and I was amazed. Creative liberties were taken with the layout; but as a BTAS fan I'd say the set is over 90% accurate. However stickers are unacceptable. LEGO refuses to use them on Modulars building so they shouldn't be used on premium sets.
The figures are amazing and more would have been ideal. (preferly the amount represented in stickers) Some LEGO themes get more figures than others so 25+ is not is not unheard of.
Batman should have had a specialized cowl like 1989 and Catwoman's arms should have been dual-moulded.

Overall: NOT WORTH THESE PRICES

As lego becomes less expensive to make. The prices keep going up and out of control. Sure, it’s cool to go by the store and see the one set NO ONE can afford and say, “wow, I wish I had that”, but they have gotten to the point where nearly all the sets are getting priced out of control. Now sure, say you save and save and maybe sell that vintage car you were going to restore, but even then, you can really only afford ONE of these crazy expensive sets and you torture yourself trying to choose the one you’re going to buy.
Now if you’re a kid…. Forget it! No paper delivery route is ever going to earn you enough money to ever buy one and maybe you’ve saved enough to finally get one of these sets, guess what?? It’s retired, or never in stock, or they’ve released ten other sets you’ve gotta save up even more for. I’ve collected lego sets off and on for the better part of 40 years and in retrospect wish I’d have just saved all that money and purchased the real Ferrari I always loved.

I’m pretty confident that the Penguin has taken over Lego. It’s the only reason no upper-middle class kid can’t possibly afford maybe more than a a few sets vs when I was a kid and could have collected a full series without having to choose one or two of dozens. Hearts a breaking as people realize you’re better off buying lego stock instead of lego sets
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Beautiful display piece worthy of BTAS!

I’ve always wanted Batman the animated series sets, and what a way to start! The art deco style, or in this case ‘dark deco’, is absolutely stunning and satisfying to look at. There’s also so many Easter eggs and references to the show and interesting build techniques to keep you engaged the entire building process. My only gripes with the set are a lot of the smaller tiles and plates have noticeable mold injection marks which I always try to hide from view, which can get annoying. Also the Harley figures face print is not the brightest white. I highly recommend this still to anyone, if it’s your thing!
