Kudos to the team that did this

This is the best build experience I’ve ever had. Whoever came up with the episode numbers and breaking up build that way deserves a raise. I watched the corresponding episode with every new bag. Helped spread out the build, make it more memorable/involved, and really showed the care put into this set. Enjoyed the over all esthetic. With price of Lego + licenses and personal preference it can be hard to find a set I can justify getting. This probably takes the crown from my previous favorite set/build. The ucs slave 1.
Negatives:
-mini figs: the person buying this probably doesn’t care about mini figs. And there is no way to attach them to set. Would have preferred no figs or a more clever way to incorporate if they are that necessary. Bloated cost for stuff this set doesn’t vibe with. I also didn’t feel they were that btas-y.
2. The Batman lettering at the top. I might try to remove this. Haven’t tried. I read online at one point in development the letters spelled Gotham. Probably would have preferred that. The letters above do accent the display but looks a lot cleaner with out. And having a piece like this have big Batman on top is kinda tacky for how the rest of the piece is. Instead of a piece that someone has to look at or be in the know. This piece says very loudly, it’s Batman get it?

Overall tho, can’t say enough nice stuff about this set. Worst part is knowing there won’t be a set like this for me and my interests for quite some time. Great job!

Gives us an ounce of hope

This is a great art set and an amazing homage to the animated series. I hope this would have inspired a line of sets based on btas too. It’s an intricate build with small pieces like all art sets, but it wasn’t a bad build. I took off the Batman words on top for my display as they just look weird to me. Pretty cool display. Wish we had better figures.

It was a pretty fun building experience. Building the sky was repetitive. The mini figures are great. The set doesn't have much playability, other than the mini figures, but it is still nice to have on a shelf.

Surprising set

The set looked just ok in the main photos but it was a unique set and Batman The Animated Series is one of my favorites so i bought it. Wow! It looked like there would probably be a lot of repetition and it was really only a display piece but the actual build process was easily top 5 most enjoyable sets ever! There ARE a lot of stickers which will turn some off but i thought it actually fit the set very well here. It was awesome to see so many details and various layers behind the city scape veneer. Having Wayne Manor with a hidden Batcave beneath it or the Arkham Asylum cells hidden behind an aquarium was so fun. This is one set i will absolutely love breaking down and building repeatedly. Get it!

This is perhaps the best build I've ever done. No step was particularly difficult to complete, but the skill with part usage and with moving things in fractions of a stud width were magically done. And it's freakin' beautiful.
The only downside was the number of stickers. But can't imagine how much this would have cost if all of those hidden criminals were custom printed tiles.

Full build but instructions need help

The kit is awesome and looks great after the build, but my main issue was the manual. The instructions at times were unclear and had random perspective changes (that at times didn't make sense). It would've been easier to follow this intense build from a Birdseye perspective, not random 45 degrees where I can't tell where my next piece goes. The coloring of the pieces were really dark and it was hard sometimes to figure out what color piece I needed and whether it was the flat piece or not. Other than that it's a great kit and fun to do.
