Not Happy
on January 14, 2026

I thought this removable oven tray was a genius idea. I was wrong. I don't know what is supposed to be easy about it. Once something is stuck on it, forget it, it is not coming off.

We'd like to provide some cleaning tips for your EasyWash tray. For tough stains, soak the EasyWash oven tray in warm, soapy water for 30 minutes before washing. For more stubborn stains, a cleaner containing oxalic acid can be used. Be sure to thoroughly rinse off any excess cleaners, when left on these cleaners can cause changes in the surface appearance or damage the coating. EasyWash a serious misnomer for Oven Tray
on February 26, 2026
Posted by: bj2026
Cleaning this thing has been an unmitigated disaster. This is what I tried:
-Soaking overnight in dish soap
-Rubbing with Barkeeper’s Friend
-Using the steam-clean function in the oven
-Spreading a paste of baking soda and vinegar
-Putting it in the dishwasher
Absolutely nothing worked, even while using a plastic razor blade. I’ve only had the oven for a month. And it's not as if I have a large family; I used it once maybe twice a week. Did anyone actually test this? What can be done to make this right?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We want to help out with cleaning your EasyWash tray. We recommend using soft nylon scrub brushes or pads. We also recommend soaking the tray in warm soapy water for 30 minutes, then following up with a cleaner that contains oxalic acid such as Bar Keepers Friend™. GE Oven Tray Is Not Easy WASH
on January 3, 2026
Posted by: MTracy58
I hope someone at GE Appliance sees this posting. I have a brand new GE Profile Induction stove. The easy wash oven tray isn't easy wash in fact when food burns on it there is no way of removing it. I would like a replacement easywash oven tray and from now on I will line it with aluminum foil.

We would also like to offer some information regarding the foil. We do not recommended using foiitl to line this item.

Not all that...

The tray is difficult to wash, and it is smaller than the bottom of the oven. Spillage can get under it. I got a VERY BAD cut on some sharp metal when trying to clean the bottom of the oven - cut right through the Magic Eraser and my finger like butter!

"false advertising"
on February 16, 2026

I just got my new GE Range about 1 month ago and thought the easy wash oven tray was an awesome idea. SO WRONG. Some greasy sauce dripped on it. Tried to wash it. It wouldn't come off. Actually, the coasting came off. I was looking at replacing it but I really hate to buy a new tray and I feel that due to the "false advertising" of how easy this is to clean, I should get a free replacement from GE.
I would recommend this to a friend!
