The buzzer is loud and cannot be turned off.

The buzzer on the dryer is one of two low points. There is no way to turn off this annoying buzzer. If you need a left side dryer vent, forget this dryer. The knockout took me over an hour to remove. It was ugly. Standard dryer vent ducts cannot be used to replace the first duct attached to the blower. Apparently 4" at GE is different than 4" everywhere else.

A dryer is just a dryer! Exactly what I wanted.

I love this dryer. It looks great and does exactly what I want it to do…dries clothes. Nothing fancy, 3 levels of heat and a dial that sets the time. You don’t need a college degree or need to know computer coding to work this dryer. Thank you GE. Also door is reversible and the delivery guys did that for me. 1st time in 50 years my dryer door opens towards my washer.

This dryer was priced as a low-end product, so my expectations were not high. What a surprise I had when it was delivered and installed. It seemed well-constructed, easy to use, and did its job perfectly. Well done, GE.
