It works well

This was a downgrade from a previous model, but honestly seems to work just as well. Not as fancy but we were in a pinch. It does not have an internal light, however.

I bought this dryer about a month ago I’m pleased with it and it was a very good buy
I also bought the matching washer to go with it

It ain't so hot!

It does not dry things well even when it is set on high temp. Took over 90 minutes to dry towels on high temp setting. Same thing with sheets. Blue jeans take longer to dry also because we do not use high temp to dry them. Drying time is much longer than our old dryer which was 25+ years old. And we only used the low and medium temperature setting on it. So, your Hotpoint dryer isn't so hot. Really disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We'd like to help you with the drying operation of your unit. We recommend making sure the lint filter is being cleaned every load. Additionally make sure your load is being properly sorted by separating heavy items from lightweight items.
