Great idea but less than adequate audio quality

I bought this device with the hopes of being able to access my digital music library with good quality audio. I have since learned that bluetooth streaming has serious drawbacks because of the compression technology used. Playback via the BTA 10 was "tinny" and clearly unacceptable. I am not a audio purist so I wasn't looking for CD quality.
The concept of this device is outstanding but, unless you plan on streaming audio into an elevator, you will not be pleased with the end result.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice unit, only issue is range, once you leave the room the reception drops, thought it would have a better bandwidth

Poor Bluetooth performance and audio quality

Crackles badly if Bluetooth volume is above absolute minimum or if song has a lot of bass. No better than much cheaper homespot which I also have, very disappointed in it, do not buy.

Excellent sound

I purchased this last month. We play our iPhone through it. Very good jazz and classical music is heard everyday. It is connected to our older Harman Kardon AVR receiver. Easy sit up every thing showed on the iPhone.

Great when it works.

This is the second one I've had, and when it works it's great. But then it suddenly stops and won't pair, won't find the source, etc. I'll have to try something else - this isn't worth the aggravation. Both of them worked less than a year

had this for a year, very pleased, east set up, good sound, abruptly quit tonight. rebooted etc etc, non discoverable
