Nice air purifier with convenient and easy to use app controls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First impression was overall positive. I thought it was really neat that this is a smart air purifier to add to one of the many smart devices in my home. The soft carry handle eased the portability more than I thought I needed.
Homedics has their own app that links to the air purifier where you can control the power, fan speed, display light on/off, timer, schedule, and even view the filter life remaining. It can also be linked to your voice assistants— Google Home and Alexa. If you wanted, you wouldn’t even need to touch the actual air purifier once you place it in a spot you like since all controls work through the app— the idea of that is amazing! I’ve had no flaws with the app so far. It’s been connecting seamlessly and had even more functions than I initially expected.
As for the air purifier itself, I will say it can be a bit noisy. Although, as an air purifier made for a room up to 1000+ sq ft, it’s not surprising that the fan would be working harder and louder. Only the lowest level out of three would be considered quiet to me.
Since I do not have a way to measure AQI in the room I use the air purifier in, I can’t speak for the effectiveness of cleaning the air. I have been using it more lately as a fan to circulate air through a stuffy room and I feel it has been fine at doing that.
There is an essential oils compartment that allows you to drop an oil onto a pad to have it subtly air through while purifying. It’s a nice touch but not a feature I use regularly.
Overalll, it’s a nice air purifier and it’s nice being able to control using the app. However, I don’t actually use the smart feature functions as much as I thought I would. It was cool at first, but not necessary for an air purifier but now I know!

Helps with the pet smells and clears up the air quality noticeably. takes up a minimal amount of space and is designed well so it blends in aesthetically.

One of the best things about the Homedics Smart Air Purifier T100 is that it is very easy to use. You can set it up in minutes and start using it right away. It took me no time to start it up and I added a couple of drops of my favorite grape soda essential oil and in seconds my room was already starting to smell wonderful. The device is pretty quiet on the low setting but the highest setting you can definitely hear it and to me it’s a bit too loud if watching a movie you have to turn the volume up because the purifier is pretty powerful on the highest setting. I have found that it’s actually relaxing to me since I have to sleep with a fan on anyways this may be no big deal to you. But I can see some people not liking this factor. But honestly that’s the only thing about this that I can see being a complaint.. It's perfect for people who suffer from allergies or asthma, as it can help reduce the number of allergens and irritants in the air. For me I’ve already noticed not as many sinus headaches.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Homedics Smart Air Purifier T100 to anyone looking for a high-quality air purifier that is both effective and easy to use. It's a great investment in your health and well being, and it's definitely worth the price!

Excellent portable air purifier!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a small home dweller, it’s very important to be able to move my appliances and devices from room to room as needed. I recently had the opportunity from Influenster and Homedics to try this smart air purifier in exchange for my honest review, and I am truly impressed!
The device is totally portable thanks to the handy attached strap and removable adapter cord. The controls are easy and intuitive to use, and I love that you can download an app to control it, great for when you are comfy in bed!
I am pleased with the air purifier functionality. It removes any odors from the air and the filter seems to be picking up a lot of dust and crud from the room.
Another great touch is the optional aromatherapy tray - you can add a few drops of essential oil and it adds a lovely subtle scent to the room. It also works great as an air moving fan. The lowest setting is very quiet and gentle but on the highest setting you get a nice blast of air, great for warm or stuffy days.
Overall I am very happy with this device and have added it to my bedroom permanently. I would recommend to anyone with a small home or small rooms that is looking for a clean air solution.
