Do not buy. Memory will never run at 5600...
Lenovo claims that "there are limitations that the chipset inherently has depending on the number of modules [that] are installed. Essentially, the clock speeds are automatically restricted to lower values when leveraging dual and quad channel memory setups."
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was waiting for this new model to release and ordered it as soon as I saw it on Lenovo's website. This is definitely not a budget-oriented machine, and while I could have gone the custom route, I wanted an out of the box experience that was ready to go so I decided on this model. Having prior Lenovo experience with a Yoga laptop I recently purchased, I highly recommend Lenovo due to their build quality as well.
The machine arrived a few days later and after a week of ownership, I am very happy with the purchase. I wanted a high-end gaming PC with both CPU and GPU performance I would never have to compromise game settings with. Nothing I have put the Core i9 or RTX 4080 up against has disappointed me at all.
I paired this with the Legion Y25g-30 with 360hz refresh and NVIDIA G-SYNC, and the Legion K500 keyboard, M500 mouse, and H500 Pro 7.1 surround headset. The included keyboard and mouse are very basic, so I would recommend upgrading those.

Cons: no cd drive, it’s big and heavy. Pros: it’s solidly built, faster speed, graphics are so much better at 4080(no stuttering), whisper quiet. For extra, it’s got a clear side and I can activate neon lights inside of it. Needless to say, I’m very happy with my purchase
