Unhappy customer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the oven over one month ago and am very unhappy with it. The temperature is off by between 50 and 125 degrees, and the oven displays several error codes

Inferior Performance

Although our new KitchenAid KOES530PBS00 exhibits a refined appearance compared to our previous KEBS107D, its performance is noticeably inferior. Specifically, in either Bake or Convect Bake, it takes longer to Preheat, requires a higher oven temperature plus a longer baking time for recipes we have used successfully for many years.
We are very disappointed and we wish we had kept our original oven.

First KitchenAid large appliance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have now been using my new wall oven for about a month and am very happy with it's performance. The first thing I did once it was hooked up was place an oven thermometer inside it. Although it seemed to take a tad bit longer than my old double oven to heat up to 350, once it did it maintained the temperature very good. I really like the red decals on the ends of the handle and the blue porcelain finish on the interior. Also, I like that the racks have an easy handle to pull out.

A clean cycle delivers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was able to upgrade my new home builder’s appliance menu with a Kitchen Aid wall oven. Being a baker, I wanted to take a special dessert to a dinner in our new neighborhood. I pulled out a favorite gingerbread cake recipe, but neglected to read the pan selection size. Instead of an 9” x 9” pan I prepared an 8” x 8” pan. The result was overflowing cake dripping (and burning!) on two racks and the bottom of the oven! After the oven cooled, I followed the owners manual instructions, removing the racks and running the clean cycle. It worked flawlessly! After the oven cooled, I wiped a small amount of ash from the bottom of the oven, and found the interior looked as good as new! Thanks, Kitchen Aid, for a clean cycle that works and did no harm.

It's a great conversation piece

As with other reviews, this oven is beautiful to look at but disappointing to use. After having a local appliance repair service visit twice, they have assured me that there's nothing wrong with the oven, this is just how it performs. Baking is nearly impossible. It seems like the only function that works normally is the broiler. Baking, roasting, and their convection settings, struggle to heat past 375 and maintain a consistent temperature. I used to be a good baker, but now I hardly ever bother. The oven is just too unreliable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Faulty Oven and No Help From Customer Service

I purchased this unit and I too used the self clean oven feature like many people in the review's, and now my oven no longer works. The oven locked and lost power, it no longer works. I don’t understand why KitchenAid hasn’t recalled to replace this part or advised customers NOT to use this feature. I’m extremely upset that I used a feature on my oven is not working any longer, due to a faulty feature where this has impacted so many customers.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
